Instructions | Gold Book Preparation Form | Gold Book Preparation Form to Print | How to Copy and Paste | Submission Form
Now is your chance to submit project information for inclusion in the Gold Book Online. September 2 is the submission deadline for projects to be considered for special recognition and awards to be presented at the National League Conference.
The goal of the Gold Book Online is to create as complete a resource of volunteer projects as possible. Submissions of all completed volunteer projects are encouraged. There is no project too small, too old or too ordinary to be submitted. Your project just might be the next great idea for another group.
You must submit using the online form, but we recommend a copy and paste method (see instructions below) using our Gold Book Preparation Form as a preliminary work sheet, that may be used to facilitate and standardize your end-of-year reporting and your submission. If you are more comfortable working in a new Microsoft Word document or other word processing program, you can find a printable version of the Gold Book Preparation Form to use as a reference. We find that it is best to have the project chair complete the submission form, as they usually possess the most complete body of knowledge on a project, and we recommend they review the Gold Book Online's Guidelines for Judging to help them successfully meet the expectations set out for Gold Book project submissions.
Once you have reviewed all of the questions and compiled all of your answers as guided by the Gold Book Preparation Form you can then copy these answers into the appropriate text boxes in the online submission form. If you would like instructions on how to copy and paste your answers, click here. It is also possible to type the answers directly into the submission form.
After completing the form, click "review" at the bottom of the page to review your completed form before submitting. All of the questions should be reviewed before completing the form. You must click "submit project now" before your entry will be sent to the data base. If you do not see a page that says "thank you for your submission," your project has not yet been received.
Please note: The form should be left open until it has been completed and successfully submitted. Closing it prematurely will cause the information that has been entered to be lost.
