Search Directions

When searching for project ideas, you can use the following selection tools.

Categories
Pick as many as you wish to search. The search engine will look automatically for all categories you have checked off using an OR statement. (i.e. if you checked auction and ball—it would find all auctions OR balls.)

Keyword
Type as many keywords as you like. The search engine will look for all words in any text field (name fields or description fields) and return results that contain all of the words entered. (i.e. typing in Painted Violin finds all items that have both the words painted AND violin in the text.)

All projects with a net revenue greater than or equal to
Use this search to find activities that raised a certain amount of money.  You can only enter numerals in this field.

If you use a combination of these search items (i.e. Categories, Keyword, Net Revenue) you will NARROW your search. Checked categories will pull all projects in each category, but, if you also add a key word it will only look for that specific key word in those multiple categories. This means that if you check retention and luncheon/tea and type in key words of home tour—the search engine will look for anything coded retention OR luncheon/tea AND has the words home AND tour in the name or description information.
